Having dug around amongst the mound of adverts cluttering up the notice board, Marko finally locates two advertisements offering rooms in a "Wohngemeinschaft" (or "WG" for short). This literally translates as "living community" and means "a shared house or apartment". This is much more practical for a student arriving in a new city - and much better for the bank balance too!

He also finds an advertisement for a one room flat which would also suit his needs.
